So this week in my children’s resources class, we have to read a series book.  Some of the suggestions are Babysitters Club and Sweet Valley Twins.

I have purposely been avoiding going back to BSC.  There are SVT books that my daughter has that I haven’t read, or else don’t remember reading.

Ooh, I wonder if she has the one about Jennifer and Brook.  I always liked that one.

How am I going to stop myself from turning on the snark?

And what will happen when I’m taking the same prof for young adult resources?  OH GOD VAMPIRE DIARIES HERE WE COME…AGAIN.

…You know what?  I’m going to go with a classic: Claudia And Mean Janine.  How can I turn down the fact that Claudia looks like she’s talking to a very old Asian librarian?  (Not in the link; in the original cover.  I do like that the redone cover makes them look Japanese rather than Generically Sort of Asian, although Claudia’s outfit is WAY TOO CONSERVATIVE FOR A COVER.
