Susan Elizabeth Phillips’s What I Did for Love is nothing more than Jennifer Aniston/Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie fan fiction, and I got maybe ten pages in. Forget that. I have better things to do with my time. If I cared about Brangelina and the like, I’d pick up a damn magazine.
Really, it’s one thing to be inspired by true-life events, and another to barely bother to fictionalize it.
I’ve never flat-out LOVED SEP’s works–too conformist, and one of her heroines, I forget which, made me want to take a bat to things–but this is too much.
